I've done every one of these jobs myself, usually at the same time.

My first job was tutoring writing at Brightpoint Community College. Students brought me drafts they were stuck inside, and the work was figuring out what they actually meant, then helping them say it in their own voice. I've been doing a version of that ever since, whether the draft belongs to a CEO, a former FEMA Administrator, or me.

At Bent Ear Solutions that turned into the whole commercial surface: the website, the email program, the LinkedIn channel, five trade shows a year, the proposals, and the federal pipeline. Across the website, conferences, and one federal pursuit, the channels I built have sourced more than $1M in contract value.

I'd rather earn attention than rent it. The growth I'm proudest of came out of writing and search, not ad budgets.

Storage Scholars sent me to New York to run NYU move-in. Several team leaders reported to me, we cleared 200+ moves in three days, and none of us worked in that city. Before that I recruited and managed 30+ staff at the William & Mary campus while regional customers grew 108%.

The leadership looks different now. I pull subject-matter experts, designers, outside agency staff, and whoever else a deadline needs toward the same date, and I report marketing KPIs to the C-suite every two weeks.
